UNLV The Center Awarded a Fifth Educational Talent Search Grant - $1.25m over 5-years

Dr. Sullivan and I are ecstatic to share that UNLV TheCenter was awarded a fifth TRIO Talent Search grant from the Department of Education. We are extremely grateful for your support and letters of commitment, which contributed directly to us developing competitive applications.
The TS grant will serve 500 low-income and/or first-generation middle and high school students annually. Below are description and key services for the grant.
The Talent Search program identifies and assists individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to and complete their postsecondary education. The goal of Talent Search is to increase the number of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in and complete their postsecondary education.
Academic advising and counseling, tutoring, career exploration, assistance with completing college admission and FAFSA applications.
