Where Does Tutoring Take Place?

UNLV students may receive their tutoring on campus or with agreement, at an altetrnative location. Tutoring can take place through the school day, after school, and at weekends. Specific needs can be discussed with tutoring office staff and with tutors.

Members of the Center's programs who are at middle or high school may meet with their tutors at mutually agreed upon locations, such as schools or libraries.

Charges for Tutoring Services

Tutoring services are available on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or in lab environments which are open for extended hours. Students at UNLV are eligible for tutoring services at a reduced hourly rate of $10.00. Access to lab based tutoring is only limited by the lab's opening hours, and full access for a given subject costs only $150.00 for an entire semester. After mid-term, this charge reduces to $75.00 per subject. Free tutoring services are available to students who are both eligible and enrolled in one of the Center's programs.

How Do I Apply for Free Tutoring?

If you meet the specified eligibility requirements to qualify for a program at The Center, contact us for a program application.
